Software for gold and jewelry shops
A TexaCore module for gold and jewelry shops is planned: items by karat and weight, workmanship charges and gold prices, on the same stock, sales and accounts as the rest of the ERP.
This module is not available yet. What is described here is planned, not shipped, and there is no release date. The plan may change.
Planned scope
Items by karat and weight
Record each piece with its karat and its gross, stone and net metal weight.
Workmanship and stones
Set the workmanship charge per gram, as a percentage of the metal value or as a fixed amount, and add the value of any stones.
Gold prices
Keep a price per gram for each karat and date, to value the metal in each piece.
Not available yet: the gold screen in the app is a placeholder and the module has no release date. Today the core ERP runs purchasing, stock, sales and accounting, but it does not record karats or weights, or price metal.
Who it is for
