Controls for company data access

Cloud-service connections are protected with TLS, and company data is isolated at the database level. Role- and action-based permissions are available, and visibility for some documents can be scoped to the owner, team, or company.

Approvals and activity records

Approval workflows can be configured for supported document flows. Document activity logs record supported actions. Posted entries are protected from ordinary edits; controlled changes use recorded workflows.

Backup and export files

You can optionally protect .tcdb backup and export files with a passphrase using AES-256. This encryption applies only to those protected files. For paid plans, security fixes receive the highest priority during update handling.
