Software for car showrooms

A TexaCore module for car showrooms, in early access: vehicle cards with VIN lookup, draft quotations and service logs work today. The full cycle, from buying a vehicle by VIN to selling it on instalments, is planned and still being built.

In early access, enabled on request. What works today is a preview: vehicle cards, VIN lookup, draft quotations and service logs. It posts nothing to stock or accounts yet, and the full sales cycle below is planned. Request early access

How to get started

  1. 1

    Vehicle cards with VIN lookup

Save a vehicle card with its VIN, make, model and prices. Decode the VIN through the public NHTSA lookup and mark the condition of body panels and chassis parts on a chart. A card is a record only: it creates no purchase invoice, stock movement or payment.

  2. 2

    Quotations and service logs

Prepare a draft, non-binding quotation with a cash or instalment schedule and print it, and keep a service log for each vehicle. Neither creates an invoice, a contract, a payment or a cost entry.

  3. 3

Buying by VIN with landed cost

Receive each vehicle with its own VIN through the purchase cycle, and add customs, transport, repair and registration costs to that vehicle’s cost.

  4. 4

Selling and returning at the vehicle’s own cost

Sell a vehicle at the cost it carries, and take it back at the same cost, with each VIN costed separately.
