Set currencies and exchange rates

A company can set a base currency and maintain buy, sell, and mid rates. Documents and entries use the rate recorded for the relevant date.

Record transactions by currency

Journal entries support a currency for each line, and a foreign-currency line needs a recorded rate before it can be saved. Cash and bank account balances can be shown in a company currency.

Review statements and reports

An account statement can be opened in its own currency, the company currency, or another presentation currency. The trial balance, income statement, and balance sheet display recorded data on screen.

FAQ

Can journal entries use different currencies?

Which statements and reports can I review?
Open an account statement in its own currency, the company currency or another presentation currency, and review the trial balance, income statement and balance sheet on screen.
